Privacy Policy

Sphiral, a Set & Setting product · Last updated: June 2026

Sphiral is built on a simple principle: your birth moment is yours. This policy describes everything the app does with data, in plain language.

What we collect

Birth details (date, optionally time and place). These stay on your device. They are sent to our server only at the moment you ask us to compose a piece, used transiently for that composition, and are not stored. Our render cache is keyed by an anonymous one-way hash, from which your details cannot be recovered.

Listening reflections (the optional 1–5 "how settled do you feel" ratings). These are stored on your device only. If we ever invite you to share them in aggregate to improve the product, that will be a separate, explicit, opt-in choice.

What we don't do

No account is required. No advertising, no trackers, no analytics SDKs, no sale or sharing of personal data with third parties — ever. We cannot identify you from anything our server holds.

Audio files

Your composed pieces are downloaded to your device and remain there under your control. Deleting the app deletes them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, and erasure. Because we hold no identifiable personal data, there is typically nothing for us to retrieve or erase — but if you have any concern, contact us and we will help: [email protected].

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes, and material changes will be flagged in the app before they apply to you.
